Reliability and guaranteed room temperature were the priority for the refrigeration and control systems for a 1500m², +2 cool room for critical care pharmaceutical product storage.
To ensure cold chain integrity a -20°C freezer and +8°C loading dock ante room were also part of the design.
These project requirements necessitated built in redundancy to the refrigeration and controls systems. This included 2 independent MCC’s to diversify the power supplies and mimic the PLC controls systems for further system redundancy and room temperature reliability.
